Years ago, I noted in a sketchbook that I wanted to make something that combines pinks and browns, so this was the perfect way to satisfy that curiosity. I also experimented with new granny square sizes for this sweater, and I'm getting closer to my vision. (By the way... this sweater just won a blue ribbon Sept. 2025!)

I source much of the yarn from The Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse. People donate beautiful yarns that were leftover from their projects - which is perfect for me. The yarns might be wool, acrylic, linen, cotton, etc.; and some are not identified.
