028 - Small - Earla Pink 1

A friend gifted me this 1940's quilt, when nobody in her family wanted it... what a treasure! Although the quilt was in pretty good shape, there are some minor flaws. The beautiful zig-zag border was covered up with a shiny pink ribbon, which I removed. Although that task was very time-consuming, I think the exposed edging is quite beautiful. The original quilter attached it by HAND!!! The binding around the shawl collar is from a vintage apron.

I was able to get a 2nd coat from this quilt (size medium), but the style is quite different.

* Size SMALL, shawl collar, regular shoulders
* The coordinated cuffs are pieced from the quilt
* 2 buttons; 1 interior pocket

Sleeve length = 24"
Sleeve length, rolled cuff = 21-1/2"
