This is the first time I tried a raglan style sleeve with the shawl collar. I machine-pieced squares from my cotton stash, then hand-quilted the coat to a muslin upholstery batting. The coat's lining can be seen if you roll the sleeves up.
I added the Dresden plate to the back of the coat, for interest. The shawl collar is a beautiful green linen.
