I found this beautiful light blue vintage quilt in an antique store in Western Pennsylvania. It was hanging on the wall in an obscure spot, and was terribly tattered and dull. The (unknown) quilter left the red basting stitches in place - which I had to remove. They also used a more rare form of quilting called "Lap Quilting," which made the quilt more challenging to disassemble.

Like many of my coats, this one required extensive repairs, and took about a month to make. I will be able to get a 2nd shawl-collared coat out of the quilt.

* Size MEDIUM, with slightly dropped shoulders
* Hand pieced and hand-quilted
* Coordinated floral cuffs on the interior sleeves
* No buttons, no pockets
