007 - Medium - Teal Snowballs

This heavy, shawl-collared coat was inspired when I spotted 2 yards of beautiful teal cotton at a thrift store. I knew it would be perfect as a traditional "snowball" quilt, and I had plenty of teal-highlighted fabrics in my own stash to use.

After machine-piecing 5 small Snowball Quilts (for each pattern piece), I hand quilted the coat to the cotton lining, using flannel batting. The sleeve linings are of a silky teal polyester (to reduce movement friction).

* Size MEDIUM, with slightly dropped shoulders
* Machine pieced and hand quilted (by me)
* 2 buttons, no pockets
* The cuffs can be turned up, but I did not use a special print

* Shoulder width = 17"
* Chest width = 22"
* Front length = 25"
* Sleeve length = 21-1/2"
