This very tattered quilt was purchased at a Western PA antique shop. I had to add a few vintage fabrics from my stash when making the extensive repairs. It has a very soft and floppy feel.

The original quilt was hand-pieced and hand-quilted (artist unknown). As I was working on this coat, I kept wondering if this was the first quilt that the artist made, since the stitches were unusually long; quilters compete for tiny stitches!

* Size MEDIUM
* Shawl collar, with slightly dropped shoulders
* 2 buttons (not bound), no pockets
* The cuffs can be turned up, but I did not use a special print
